A proper mountain pasture belongs to our farm. It is located at 2020 m above the sea level on the Latzfonser Jochalm.

At the beginning of the summer young cattle are sent there to spend the summer. They can graze there on the rich pastures till the middle of September and stay there together with the senior farmer Franz, who looks after them.
You can visit our mountain pasture anytime. Franz will gladly show you the life of a dairy man. Spend a relaxing day in that wonderful environment!
From there you can easily reach destinations like the "Latzfonser Kreuz", the "Stöffl" - cottage or the nearby "Jochalm" - cheese dairy.

The Alp-taxi

Who wants to avoid driving his own car, in summer has the possibility to go to the mountain pasture by taxi. From the car park “Kaseregg” on 1950 m you need only 20 minutes to our mountain pasture. The Alp-taxi is free for guests who have the Klausen Card.

The guided snowshoeing – tour

In the winter months farmer Florian embarks on a snowshoeing - tour with the guests once a week, walking to Thalhofer mountain pasture. The wonderful, snow - covered winter landscape, the silence and peace of the wintry mountain world and the grand view of the Dolomites are rewards for the effort of the ascent. If you do not have snowshoes with you, you can borrow them from us.
